With the acai berry industry growing rapidly, it’s important to learn all about its health benefits!

Foods that are high in antioxidants typically work to neutralize our bodies, and have even been linked to lower a person’s risk of diseases, including heart disease and cancer. Additionally, these antioxidants help to boost immunity and lower inflammation in the body.

Its high levels of antioxidants can work to counteract any oxidation or inflammation of brain cells that may cause poor memory and delays learning skills.

The nutrition facts aside, acai is absolutely delicious… I’ve become completely obsessed over the past few years. My favorite way to eat acai is blending the frozen puree into a smoothie like consistency, and crafting it into an acai bowl with fruit, granola and peanut butter!
